I've often thought that buried deep within the human genome there is a gene that compels us to quantify and categorize our experiences. To the degree that it helps us frame our reality it is a good thing. But more often than not it expresses itself in an insidious way by causing us to limit ourselves, to attempt to box in others, and in its worse expression, to stereotype whole groups of people. This film is a statement about the power that exists within each of our inner worlds when we dare to explore them. We are each multi-faceted beings with the potential to grow, to reinvent ourselves and to experience re-births. When we do so, we cast off the labels and limitations that are internally and externally placed upon us, and we begin to discover the infinite possibilities that existence holds.
