This is a work-in-progress sample of our new piece, BLINKING. Created in four days, the collaborators were given student dancers, and required to limit the work to ten minutes. Despite technical and time limitations, this sample represents a first draft of some of the components which we would develop, extend, and base variations on for the final work. Most helpful was the opportunity to begin to explore how the dance, music, and video/interactive media could create meaningful dramatic and choreographic gestures.
