A voyage on the Etna vulcan, a journey to the changing throughout dancing, a catarthic relationship between image and body and nature.A profound spiritual experience sorrounding the Etna’s area.“Pietre di fuoco” (“Fire rocks”) is a tribute to my land through Sisina Augusta’s dance.The mountain welcomed us within its natural scenario.The vulcan gives and takes. You have to respect it.Magma is dangerous. Red, fired, fluid, quick, hipnotic, but as soon as it get cold it becomes fragile.Hot black dust, new craddle within the seed grows.Through the coreography, I gave shape to the feeling of passion and love I feel for my birth place.In my work are pesent all the elements: WATER (the sound of the sea of the Sicilian coast), EARTH (vulcan, stones and black dust), FIRE (red scarf with which Sisina Augusta envelops herself), AIR (wind, mean of inspiration of gesture), WOOD (white trees branches burnt by the magma).
