The RGB contemporary art media performance by ART NOMADS investigates visual processes following live human motion triggering and responding to multiple media input (>visual and audio).RGB attempts an artistic examination of this dialogue by a sequential implementation of components of opposing qualities: physical motion, digital media current; natural and synthetic soundscapes - as metaphors of elementary energies found in nature and science, visualized the red, green and blue color space. We let realtime technology take a dancer's movements into a digital system; there, she's shaping elements of nature and civilisation, appearing as a projection. Two searate spaces are involved: one in which the dancer is performing her choreographies in front of a lit up wall - to be captured live; in a second room, the movements are mirrored and computed into realtime, motion art video streams, projected onto that opposite side. The audience is invited to nomadize between the two spaces; in one, viewing the dancer as a 'natural source'. In the other, looking into a virtual RGB space, influenced by the dancer's movement.artistslive choreographies by Eve Neeracher /Christiane Meyerlive audioscore by Andres Jankowskiconcept and live vision by Michael Douglas Hawkcontact /bookings: artnomads@michaeldouglashawk.com
