Excerpts from a piece called Random Generator created during a residency at Counterpulse in San Francisco in 2006. The dance is reconfigured by live randomized computer instructions projected on the wall above the audience's heads. An experiment not so much about chance but also about trying to create narrative from a randomized situation. Also somewhat about the aesthetic of random generation itself.
