Crowd-funding campaign for a touring arts installation commissioned by DanceDigital, co-produced by Helen Williams & Stacy Weeks, commencing October 2013.'Space between the lines' is a digital dance installation performed in a multi-storey car park. Let’s face it, car parks are grey, cold and not very sexy. We park, we shop, we go home. We use them to store our vehicles while we go out and experience the day. But what happens inside the space? What are we thinking and how are we moving when we go from A to B? What hides in the lifts? What secrets echo in the stairwells? And whose footsteps are we walking in?Over a few days,'Space between the lines' will give you the opportunity to explore and reveal the traces that we leave behind in car parks. This creative installation - using interactive sensory technologies and choreographed performance - will provoke your senses, change the way you move, and encourage interaction. Even if you can’t find a space, there is always room for you in our virtual car park online (details to follow soon).October 2013 - Western Approach Car Park, PlymouthApril 2014 - International Digital Dance festival, Bedford
