Born in 1978, Japan. I have studied various forms of dance from childhood including classical ballet, Nihon-Buyoh, traditional Japanese dance (from Bandoh Sengiku) and Butoh. I began creating my own dance in 2001. I majored Faculty of Representational Studies and graduated from Wako University in 2005. I have participated in Trisha Brown Summer Intensive at 2007. While in college I founded "Tokyo Dance Cafe" and worked as a supervisor for next 3 years. Her most recent projects are: "Korea and Japan dance festival vol.22 "at theater zero in Seoul, South Korea in 2008,continuous performance series 'Homage to [a] Life' at alternative space RAFT in Nakano, Japan from 2008-2009.
