A Celebration of Aileen Passloff will be held Oct. 15, 2 PM, at Judson Memorial Church.  Aileen's death in November 2020, during covid, prevented her colleagues and friends from gathering in person, but organizer Charlotte Hendrickson is happy to announce that we now have the opportunity to celebrate and honor performer/choreographer/mentor/friend/major figure in the early days of modern dance at Judson Church, Aileen Passloff. there will be performances by dancers Arthur Aviles, Micaela Harari, Hendrickson, and EmmaGrace Skove-Epes. Musicians Helen Avakian and Doug Schultz, and speakers include Toby Armour, Wendy Perron, Victoria Vinson-Jacobs, and M. Mercedes Zuniga Leon.  Film excerpts by Marta Renzi will be shown, as well as footage of Aileen's last performance in 2019.
