This New York trio of improvisers includes Martha Colburn (film artist, on video projections), Sean Lennon (of The Ghost Of A Saber Tooth Tiger / Plastic Ono Band, on guitar and bass), and Greg Saunier (of Deerhoof, on drums). Wild and hallucinatory, recent performances have featured Colburn manipulating clips drawn from her own puppet and collage-filled animated films, and her own verite documentation of street events; Lennon brandishing his guitar in a virtuosic and violent fashion that might surprise those familiar with his delicate solo work; and a pummeling Saunier fanning Lennon's flames in an almost telepathic fashion. Their first album will be released in 2012 on Lennon's own Chimera Records.
