Chisenhale Dance Space’s annual festival of dance, film and food is once again baked, mashed and sautéed into being this March and boy is it a doozie! Its free, its fun and its foody!

Wednesday 16th

Come as a team or on your own to test your knowledge of the classic feature films that feature dance. Think Black Swan, the Red Shoes and Saturday Night Fever!

Followed by a late - night screening of Lars Von Trier’s Classic: Dancer in the Dark starring Catherine Denuve and Bjork.

Friday 18th

The Performance Soup Kitchen
Boogaloo Stu presents a work in progress of Pop Magic. An interactive show where the audience create a hit record and accompanying music video in under an hour! Jenny Edbrooke presents Cups Bloomers and Briefs an installation made with the East End W.I. exploring the history of underwear in a filmic landscape.
With soup from the lush Pavillion Cafe!

Saturday 19th
1pm-4pm
FAMILY FUN - Peter Pan Picnic
Prance, Pop and Pirouette along to this Disney classic. A fun workshop for all the family followed by a picnic. Then settle down to watch the film, jumping up when the music plays to dance-a-long!
With dance-floor picnic!

By Tube:
Central, District or Hammersmith & City Line to Mile End Station
10 minute walk down Grove Road onto Roman Road – see map
OR Central Line to Bethnal Green and 10 minute walk down Roman Road – see map
Both stations are in Zone 2!

By bus:
8, 277, 339, D6, 425 All stop at the Roman Rd/Grove Rd junction. If you are coming from North London Bus is probably the quickest route, save going into town and coming back out.
1 minute walk to Chisenhale Dance Space (see map).

By car:
Parking is restricted around Chisenhale Mon - Sat until 7pm. But after that you can park outside on the quiet street we sit on!
There is a Disabled parking bay directly outside the building.
