Events

Christine Jowers, founder/senior contributor of the dance website The Dance Enthusiast, received honors from two prestigious dance institutions - the 2022 Distinguished Achievement Award in Dance from the American Dance Guild, and a Bessie for outstanding service to the field.  Both ceremonies took place during the month of December.  Following a successful dance career, Jowers, raised in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, founded the nonprofit, independent arts journal The Dance Enthusiast 15 years ago.
