Maija Garcia's class is a full-bodied movement experience. An extensive warm-up opens the body's organic flow, developing core strength, flexibility and balance in suspension. A fused practice of yoga and qi gong builds awareness of breath; creating energetic momentum. 
Free improvisation shapes and directs your intention while floor work is emphasized for release and recovery, balancing effort and ease. Movement phrasing is dynamic: composed of varied contemporary techniques to sharpen your physical intelligence and rhythmic articulation.
