Dance Parade, the grand celebration of dance, returns LIVE Sat. May 21.  Entitled "Back to the Streets," the event will open with Mayor Eric Adams cutting the ribbon at noon on Broadway & 20th St.  Leading the Parade will be this year's Grand Marshals Heidi Latsky, DJ Rich Medina, and Eduardo Vilaro.  130 dance groups, consisting of thousands of paraders showing over 100 genres of dance, will make their way down Broadway to Astor Place, where bandstands have been set up for viewers to watch short performances by selected companies.  The festivities continue across St. Mark's Place to Tompkins Sq. park, where 5 stages will be set up for performances and free classes.  Participating companies include Ballet Hispanico, Heidi Latsky Dance, Mazarte Mexican Folk Dance Co., NY Chinese Cultural Center, Bolivian, Flamenco, tap, Bellydance groups, a salsa band, a tango band, and much much more.
