Show off your best dancing moves with the DTH Company! Join us for an all-ages workshop featuring a live dj set by former company member Preston Dugger, III aka DJ Duggz! Attendees will participate in a ballet warmup with DTH faculty member Darryl Quinton and learn steps from DTH Resident Choreographer Robert Garland's Return in a fun, hour-long activity led by DTH company artists, with choreography that is “witty fusion of ballet and street gait” (NY Times), featuring music from the ballet and culminating in an old-school Soul Train line! This FREE workshop is a part of the BAAND Together Dance Festival at Lincoln Center's Summer for the City and will be led by Alvin Ailey teaching artists and is designed for all ages. Friday, August 12 from 5:00–6:00 pm. General Admission only, first-come first-served. Advance reservations are not available for this event; just show up!
