Roussève constructs a new physical language with seven performers combining postmodern movement and traditional world dances. The sound score for Saudade is traditional and contemporary recordings of fado music, also known as "Portuguese Blues," interspersed with spoken narratives and character monologues.Joining Roussève in performance are Esther M. Baker-Tarpaga, Nehara Kalev, Marianne M. Kim, Taisha Paggett, Sri Susilowati, Olivier Tarpaga, and Anjali Tata.Saudade includes a set by Peter Melville, lighting by David Ferri, and video by Ashley Hunt.
