International, all female, hip-hop crew, Decadancetheatre, present, “DECA 3D,” July 15-18th 2010 at Joyce SoHo, NewYork City.Well known for their award-winning hip-hop ballet mash-up, Decadance Vs. The Firebird, Decadancetheatrereturns to Joyce SoHo with an evening of new work including "When The Sky Break"s a world premier piece fusing oldschool hip-hop styles with cutting edge, 3D video technology created by award winning VJ Holly Daggers. "When the Sky Breaks" takes Deca away from narrative dance and into an abstract world where b-boying(breakdance) waving, popping and house dance become the basis of an exploration of the states and movements of water.
