As the kick off to its 5th anniversary season in New York, INSIPRIT will present the World Premiere of choreographer Christal Brown's, Dreams and Visions beginning December 4 at BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center.Dreams and Visions tests the states of sleep and wakefulness by creating moving tapestries that teeter on the precipice between fantasy and reality. To infuse this movement-scape with an intangible sense of foundation, the piece uses projection, an original sound score created by Zimbabwean composer Farai Malianga, costumes by Trebien Pollard, original text by Remica Bingham and scanography by Kay Reese.The piece will be danced by Krystal Butler, Beatrice Capote, Carlita V. Ector, Alexadra J. Houston, Toni Renee Johnson, Melana Lloyd, Chevon Stewart and Kayla Hamilton.
