Fresh Tracks: Performance and Residency Program

Created in 1965, Fresh Tracks is Dance Theater Workshop’s longest running series of new dance and performance. Featuring works by emerging artists selected by a panel through open auditions, Fresh Tracks artists are presented on a showcase format in the DTW theater each year and receive a performance fee, commission, 59 hour creative residency, and a series of introductory level professional development workshops, including marketing and fundraising strategies. Artists also receive individual consultations with Artistic Advisor Levi Gonzalez and participate in dialogue sessions facilitating open discussion about their creative process.
