>laboratory for performance interaction> (ten-day residency)

Applications for residency (interactive arts and performance, media and engineering)  in the 10th international Interaktionslabor can now be submitted. Please check our website for location and workshop/residency fees.

The Interaktionslabor is an annual summer laboratory, held in a disused/former Coal Mine in south-west Germany, near Göttelborn (Saarland). The independent lab was founded by Johannes Birringer in 2003 and has attracted numerous artists and researchers to come here over the past decade, working in a large hypermodern facility (Gray Gallery), with guest house/hotel directly next to it, surrounded by the magnificent and accessible structures/architectures of the old Mine.

It is expected that about a dozen artists will be working together. Languages spoken are a mix of english and other languages.
