Using her open, fluid, and articulate dance style, Japanese dance artist Mari Osanai transforms and shifts states before your eyes in her new solo piece.

60 trillion cells are dancing individually.
Cells are dancing and swimming around in body fluid under the thin soft elastic skin with mixing emotion and intention.
Do they become anything?
They do not become anything.
They just repeat breeding and consumption(disappearing). They never stop. Just keep repeating.
After all, they start to go out from the skin and coming back into the skin again and again until the boundary(skin) disappear.
What(who) am I?
Just a weight of thought is existing.
It is not me.

“She is simply breathtaking, possessing a supple body that seems to have no spine, yet is anchored on a steel spike of consummate control. She is inspired by the natural elements, and her slow, methodical, yet radiantly beautiful explorations of physicality take her dance to a higher plane” – Dance International
