Manhattan Movement & Arts Center presents Manhattan Youth Ballet’s June Show from June 8 - 9, 2012.  Performances: Friday and Saturday at 7pm. The performances will take place at the Manhattan Movement & Arts Center at 248 W. 60th Street, NYC (between Amsterdam and West End Avenues) in the Lincoln Center area.  Tickets are $25 ($15 for students) and are available at www.manhattanmovement.com/event/myb-june-show-and-gala/.

 

The performance program will include an excerpt from Balanchine’s Divertimento #15, Robbins Interplay, a World Premiere choreographed by Lar Lubovitch Dance Company’s Attila Joey Csiki, and a World Premiere choreographed by Manhattan Youth Ballet faculty member Marina Stavitskaya.

 

On Sunday, June 10, 2012, Manhattan Youth Ballet presents Balanchine, Robbins & Beyond…A Gala Benefit. This special gala performance will be performed at 7pm.  Tickets are $100 ($50 for students) and are available at www.manhattanmovement.com/event/myb-june-show-and-gala/. A reception will follow the performance.

 

The evening will feature the students of MYB with Daniel Ulbricht and Lauren Lovette from New York City Ballet; Nicole Graniero from American Ballet Theatre; and Attila Joey Csiki from the Lar Lubovitch Dance Company.
