Chris Elam's Misnomer Dance Theater presents the world premiere of Time Lapse, a foray into the humorous and serious corners of memory. Chris Elam then offers us a new look at Misnomer's rarely seen piece, Future Perfect, exploring what would happen to a dance if it woke up on the other side of the bed, if it was born one day later, or existed in a slightly different universe, thus becoming Future Perfect-er. Known for its improbable partnering, unique movement language, and international collaborations with artists ranging from Bjork to Evan Ziporyn, Misnomer offers an evening of curious encounters, outrageous undertakings, and transformative dance.

Every night except for the opening night there are regular tickets for $25; Students, Seniors and Working Artists tickets for $18; and a special Backstage Pass ticket for $75 that include the show plus a drink backstage with the company. Our Opening Night Benefit ticket includes a reception and is $100. Link to buy tickets can found at www.joyce.org or through the homepage of www.misnomer.org.

Not in NYC? No problem! We are livestreaming performances on December 9 & 16.
