MULTIAGENT WORKSHOPin the responsive environment of the live scene of LALLUNAHALALONEINTERACTIVE PERFORMANCE 2008October 2, 3, 4 2008, from 12.45 pm to 5.45 pmThe MULTIAGENT Workshop is part of the live scene of LALLUNAHALALONE and it is based on the interactive process between choreography/dance, sound, light, architecture, motion capture (VICON Real Time), motion graphics (3D animation with MAYA and LEMUR).The focus is that of stimulating a formation able to react to the continuous mutation of the media project, live performance, television, and cinema. The workshop introduces to the use of motion capture as an interface able to connect the outside with the inside of the human body and of the performing bodies in general. In this sense, it is researched the increase of the proprioceptive quality of the living body through the co-living with the 3D mutation of the architecture. Moreover, the process proceeds with the association of the “NURBS” concept to the performer's corporeal scheme (NURBOIDE), these digital curves are used in 3D animation software, so the real body is located in a virtual system (for instance the software Maya) rather than being contained in the traditional system of the anatomic scheme. The workshop is dedicated to University students and it is open to all professional figures who work in the field of the performing arts, architecture, motion capture, and motion graphics.
