Presenting a selection of fascinating dance films, the focus of the annual festival POOL is on films that not only record dance but create independent filmchoreographies through the intense interplay between dance and cinematic tools.
All dancers, choreographers, filmmakers and artists are invited to apply with short filmchoreographies and dance animations.
Films should not be longer than 30 minutes and no documentation of a dance piece.

If chosen for the programme:
- Screening copy of the film
- Filled and signed online application form scanned to
info@pool-festival.de
- 3 digital film stills, minimum 300 dpi
- Optional: biography, video testimonies and useful information
PROGRAMME & PEARLS
The POOL 20 jury will create a film programme from all submissions and select the winning films, the PEARLS 20, which will be honored with a prize money.
Outstanding artists will be awarded with the PEARLS ARTIST PRIZE for their continuous work in the field.
