POOL 12 - WORKSHOP - Corpus Pygmalion

with Chris Ziegler (ZKM Karlsruhe, SINLAB Lausanne)

 The workshop will follow Ovid Pygmalion‘s path of hybrid transgression. In Chris Ziegler‘s new production „corpus pygmalion“ he developed an „electronic leotard“, where the dancer‘s movements create sound and light. There are several ways to use the technology - as multi angle camera and interactive costume. The dancers in the workshop are requested to look at themselves from various angles, every single move has an effect on the sound and light that surrounds them.“
