This One Day Intensive is of particular valueto professional artists already engaged in
dance improvisation and choreography.
The workshop explores the use of poeticimagery to make tangible the inner world of the performer and researches theconnection between the reception of the image and the movement impulse and therelation of image and emotion. We will use the image to explore thetension between internal and external and place value on the role of reductionand compression of movement, to heighten awareness of energy and detail.
