Yanghee Lee/The Limbo Project is pleased to announce this 8 week workshop for the Summer 2010.We are very excited and enthusiastic about having this great opportunity of The Body Weather Training.All the details are below.IntroductionThe Body Weather KiM Training (BWK) is a unique and complete body-mind training system and practice.This is an absolute relevant training method for dancers, body artists and movers from all sources.The Body Weather concept was originally created by Japanese dancer/choreographer Min Tanaka and further developed by some dance laboratories worldwide. Body Weather KiM is a synthesis of the original and further elements designed by Elías Cohen deriving from Martial Arts, Classical Indian Dance, methods by Gurdjeff etc. The essential aim of Body Weather is to awaken the intelligence of the body by experiencing our physicality in all its capacities and possibilities.The work includes:1- MB (mind/body, muscles/bones): dynamic body mind training through the space creating great group awareness using image work, dance techniques (from modern to traditional Asiatic), sports and martial arts. Enhances and develops flexibility, creative physicality, endurance, precision and coordination.2- Chinese Manipulations: couple work of body manipulations where the breathing plays an essential role creating great conscience about the Human Body structure and its layers.JUNG SUN KIMChoreographer, Dancer, Artistic Leader of 'Sun Day Project Group'. Born in 1975 in Seoul. She already had her first stage appearance with Korean traditionaldance Troupe "Little Angels" by the age of nine in Europe and Asia. Studied Korean Dance at EHWA Women's University and did her postgraduate degree in choreography at Korean National University of Arts (KNUA). She received several grants, e.g. from "Arts Council Korea". Former member of 'Daegu City Dance Group' and 'Ahn, Eun- Mi Dance Company'. Variouscollaborations as choreographer in diverse theatre and dance companies in Germany and Korea as well as at the National Opera Company of Korea.
