This three day workshop, offered by the International Video Dance Festival of Burgundy, aims to give young and/or emerging video dance makers the tools they need to finance, screen and promote their work. This practical skill building workshop will focus on international mobility as a key point for creating and sharing screendance based work. The workshop occurs during the day so that participants can attend festival events in the evening. The workshop alos includes visits to the National Theatre, the Mediatheque of Le Creusot and a screening opportunity in a theatrical setting. Working language is English. 

Workshop dates: Arrive the evening of Tuesday, April 2, workshop begins morning of April 3. Depart Saturday, April 6. 

Who can attend? Video and film directors, choreographers, dancers, visual and performing artists, etc. who are starting out in screendance or who are shifting towards a more screen dance-based practice. 

Fees: International students 80 euros /non-students 200 euros/French residents receive a scholarship from the city of Le Creusot and pay a registration fee of 36 euros upon receipt of proof of residence.

Housing is not included in the fee. The festival team assists international participants with housing reservations and train reservations. Le Creusot is one hour by train from Paris. All workshop and festival events are within walking distance in the city centre.
