Busuttil holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance from The University of Western Sydney. In 2000, she was awarded a DAAD scholarship to study at The International Women's University in Germany. Since 2011, she is an artist mentor for DAAD Australia. She has performed and collaborated with a diverse range of artistic groups in the capacity of dancer, acrobat, teacher, choreographer, producer and director. Her short films have screened at over twenty International Queer and Women’s film festivals. Fresh Fruit, her latest short, was the recipient of a Taste Award in LA, Hollywood.
