As a dance artist, mother, and educator, Kelsey Paschich brings a uniquely holistic approach to her work, grounded in the fundamental truth: the human body is the original technology. Her practice views the human form as a sophisticated ensemble of movement, adaptation, and expression systems. Paschich harmonizes traditional dance and digital innovation with the intent to amplify, rather than replace, human presence across realms. Through raw athleticism and refined techniques, Paschich crafts spaces where presence and absence become equal forces in the choreographic conversation, revealing the poetry between breath and binary. She is the director and founder of Phygital Dance Lab. The mission of Phygital Dance Lab is to challenge the preconceived notion of real versus surreal through the experimentation and creation of transdisciplinary work that explores the moving body and its relationship to technology. Paschich harmonizes traditional dance with digital innovation, amplifying—rather than replacing—human presence across realms. Through raw athleticism and refined techniques, she crafts spaces where presence and absence become equal forces in the choreographic conversation, revealing the poetry between breath and binary.
