      Hey Margit! Funny I was just think about you this week. J & I might be coming up to Troy this Sat. (4/19) to check out the installation at EMPAC. Any chance you'll be around? Would be fun to see Troy in the springtime... I hope the snow is gone by now!

      hi margit, i like how you said "i do cross forms". only it sounds like picket lines. "i do not cross forms" also sounds interesting. i also like "open sesame". i always liked sesame. im new here. just poking around...
      "to include the manual and participatory" left me wondering. i use technology a lot, but ive noticed that the less a dancer uses it, usually the better the piece. maybe its just a phase..

    My private practice, Physical Intelligence Life Arts, is a forum for movement arts, investigation, and performance practice. A transdisciplinary artist, I cross forms and by doing so create new technologies seeded in the embodied and lived experience. Some fields of focus: The Feldenkrais Method; embodied writing and inscriptions; qigong, acupressure, Taoist healing practices and Chinese 5 Elements theories; Amerta Movement with Suprapto Suryodarmo; live art installations and improvisations; and Philosophy of the Implicit, including Focusing and Thinking at the Edge. I curate salons in Oakland with Kadet Kuhne, and am Co-Founder and Co-Curator of SEEDS (Somatic Experiments in Earth, Dance, + Science).
