My private practice, Physical Intelligence Life Arts, is a forum for movement arts, investigation, and performance practice. A transdisciplinary artist, I cross forms and by doing so create new technologies seeded in the embodied and lived experience. Some fields of focus: The Feldenkrais Method; embodied writing and inscriptions; qigong, acupressure, Taoist healing practices and Chinese 5 Elements theories; Amerta Movement with Suprapto Suryodarmo; live art installations and improvisations; and Philosophy of the Implicit, including Focusing and Thinking at the Edge. I curate salons in Oakland with Kadet Kuhne, and am Co-Founder and Co-Curator of SEEDS (Somatic Experiments in Earth, Dance, + Science).

"to include the manual and participatory" left me wondering. i use technology a lot, but ive noticed that the less a dancer uses it, usually the better the piece. maybe its just a phase..
