Graduated from the Instituto Superior de Danza de Caracas and Escuela de Danza de Caracas. Art History Graduate studies at the Central University of Venezuela and Graphic Design and Illustration studies at the Escuela de Artes Visuales “Cristóbal Rojas” Caracas. NUFFIC Scholarship awarded for follow-up Post-Graduate Master Specialization in Interactive Multimedia Design at SCAN, “International Training Program in Computer Graphics, Computer Animation and Interactive Multimedia”, Groningen, The Netherlands. Design and dance engagements in Venezuela and in Europe, private and in-company competency. First solo dance work in Venezuela: “Mudanza” (1992), “Andanza” (1994). Development of the “CD-ROM Interactive Choreographic” for the International Competition for Young Choreographers 97 Groningen, relating dance, design and interactivity in the new media. Major research platform at STEIM studios, Amsterdam, where the in-depth study of interactive software for media manipulation was conducted. In 2000 selected to present her pioneering interactive design-dance work at the 1rst. International Dance/Technology Festival “Monaco Danses Dances Forum”. In 2001 invited by the ZKM, Karlsruhe, to collaborate in an experimental dance multimedia performance for participation at the “Intermediale” Festival, Mainz, Germany. This year, she is accepted and granted a subsidy from the “Fonds voor de Podium Kunsten” (Funds for the Performing Arts), Amsterdam, The Netherlands, to follow Workshops on Interactivity as a Choreographic Phenomenon and Telematic Choreographies and Internet, dictated by Wayne McGregor, Paul Sermon, among others, at the “Choreografisches Zentrum”, Essen, Germany. Dance/Media Creations: Andanza, A Flor de Piel. Working experience as Project and Competency Coach for Design students (social design) at the Industrial Design Department, the University of Technology in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. She developed extracurricular assignments for the application of the language of the dancing body and inner awareness into the design research process. Other teaching experience in the visual arts field on drawing and illustration. In the physical realm, improvisation and choreography teaching as well as on movement/media relation. Reyna is also a Certified GYROKINESIS® Teacher Trainer since 2006, from the GYROTONIC Headquarters, Bad Krozingen, Germany, she has taught in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Alicante and Valencia, Spain, Caracas, Venezuela, and Bogota, Colombia. Has dictated workshops on Improvisation Technologies and GYROKINESIS at Iudanza and Pisorrojo, Caracas, Venezuela.
