Mariana Carranza (Montevideo/Germany)

She studied architecture and urbanism, art, dance, video-realization/postproduction and creative programming in Montevideo, Spain and Germany.
Today she lives and works in Germany, combining it with collaborations in projects of Medialab Prado-Madrid.
Her work is centered in the creation interactive rooms, experimenting with the interfaces between bodies, movement, space, image and sound; conjugating the poetry and the technology; journeying the border between real and the virtual world.
She has shown her work the public in individual and collective exhibitions in countries of America and Europe. By her activity she has received the recognition in different occasions.
In 2011 she received the following awards for her work:
