My new work will be showing March 9 at 3pm at 92nd St Y in NYC. Each month they feature an artist for their afternoon series... so yeah. The collage turned into a dark reflection on video dance and play... not really a reflection of the piece ID, but it was still fun to make.Music mixed by me...Beach BoysNick DrakeAphex TwinCar TalkI originally made this video for youtube... but I figured why not share my creepy editing skills here.

As I stated above... this video was intended for youtube. Then I decided to put it on this site for fun as well. On youtube I have been maintaining a page that is dedicated to involving and educating people about contemporary dance... that's why it's the interview style with dance at the end. Youtube, it's not bold. It's just survival. The youtube audience knows about and was involved with my last piece Sunshine & Dirt, so I was updating them on my creation status.
Contemporary dance is close to extinction in America. Maybe it's always been like this and I am just realizing it, but I don't like what I'm realizing and I don't like what I'm seeing.
i wish i could be there to see it, but thanks so much for the video post. i really enjoyed this! its encouraging to see someone take the step of a self-interview of sorts on this network, and to have the bravery that you have in your work. i'm sure it will be amazing. please post more! thanks!!!
