In establishing a collaborative environment to experiment, fail and grow, we will practice movement and mind games designed to encourage clear decisions, alternative communication and ensemble synergy.
The first of three segments inspires awareness of both our inner and outer selves through breath, vibration and spatial navigation.
The second focuses on recognizing a balance between leading and following by spontaneously creating detailed sequential phrase material.
Finally we add weight sharing to the conversation, supporting each other’s vocabulary expansion through rotating partnerships.

I'm an authentic performance artist, video and projection artist, and live art curator.
After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a BA in theatre and a minor in dance, I moved to Brooklyn to pursue a professional career in performance.  During this time I was involved in developing pieces for the dance companies Movement Assembly and Kinetic Architecture using my training in Butoh, contemporary dance, and authentic movement creation. I relocated to Europe to create and perform in Magnifico, an innovative approach to the equestrian circus, in collaboration with Pilobolus and Andre Heller. In Belgium, I worked with world renowned contemporary choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkouai on the creation of Puz\zle. I was introduced to innovative projection work while on a European tour with Pilobolus’ Shadowland, an evening-length theatrical experience told through dance and shadow. Interested in sharing my international experiences with an emerging arts community, I returned to my hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina to invest in local socially driven performance, movement, and extended video work. After co-founding TAPROOT, an immersive dance theatre company; and creating works with multiple companies in Charlotte, I've found myself in Berlin eager to collaborate.
